    First time use- Moroccan Waffles with sub hacks tasted great! My service dog also liked them!

    This is a really great little gadget! Your Wonderful Mini Waffles recipe book is a nice resource! Thank you.

    The set arrived today with a red deluxe maker. Was so excited I had to make some! But did not have ingredients that are in many recipes, and really wanted some whole wheat Morrocan mini-waffles. I know you said NO RECIPE CHANGES, but the ones I made worked quite well! I may decrease baking soda next time or leave it out. I used: 1 cup KAF white whole wheat flour, 1 cup goat milk Kefir for the 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup seltzer, added a 1/4 tsp. Baking soda and used 1/2tsp Calabrian chili paste in place of the Harissa plus melted ghee in place of butter—I weighed the ghee or it would not work, as clarified butter is more concentrated, because the dairy solids are removed. Should we use less ghee than butter? I had the Za-atar, large eggs and baking powder. Photo is of first two made, the others looked even better but are gone!
